RFP Wizard
| The RFP Wizard guides you
step-by-step. Take advantage of our pre-loaded, professional RFP templates
you can customize... or create your own RFP questions from scratch. The
wizard guides you through these four steps: 1.) Survey your users, 2.)
Manage (create) your RFP, 3.) E-mail your electronic RFP to vendors, 4.)
Evaluate the vendors —
after you upload their completed RFPs. (More

►
Survey Users
| First, you distribute the User Surveys
for review by departments (e.g. Billing, Human Resources) and they will
prioritize their needs. Based on their feedback, you can edit and add new
RFP questions in a spreadsheet format. The completed user surveys are the
foundation for your electronic RFP. (More

►
View Selected Requirements
|
As you survey users and enter response codes, the Filter button allows you
to selectively view your RFP questions and requirements (e.g., “Mandatory” only)
or “Unanswered items.” You can verify which items are most important and the
completeness of your work. (More

►
Print RFP User
Surveys
You can print the user surveys with
different options. Or create Word documents to email. Distribute the
General Question, Functional Requirement and Cost Proposal surveys to your
project team for review and feedback. Your team can prioritize
requirements, suggest additions, etc.
Functional surveys list system features by application. General Question
surveys contain open-ended questions for vendors about service, support,
financial stability, etc. Background sections present information about
your organization, contacts and project schedule to the vendors. (More

►
Create Your Own
Surveys
| You can create your own RFP surveys
for unique needs or rename the ON-LINE CONSULTANT surveys we provide.
(More topics) |

►
E-mail RFPs
| The “Send RFP” screen automatically
sends e-mails with your RFP files through Outlook to vendors of your
choice. Vendors use the free RESPOND software to reply to your RFP and
email the completed RFP back to you for uploading into the ON-LINE
CONSULTANT. (More topics) |

►
Evaluate Vendors
After vendors e-mail their completed
RFPs back to you, and they are automatically uploaded into the ON-LINE
CONSULTANT, you can instantly compare each vendor's RFP responses. You can
filter responses and spot functionality gaps (e.g. To which requirements
did Vendor A reply “No – Not Available” or “M – Modification Required?”).
The ON-LINE CONSULTANT built-in database supports instant views and
reports of important considerations that would be very difficult or
impossible with RFPs created in documents or spreadsheets
— so called “One-Way
RFPs.” Spreadsheets and documents are fine for presenting your RFP to
vendors, but what do you do when you get them back? Is there an analysis
and reporting (“back-end”) engine to generate reports, graphs and queries?
The ON-LINE CONSULTANT will save you many hours and a great deal of effort
analyzing your vendor proposals, paying for itself many times over.

Compare Vendor Responses
| You can visually compare vendor
functional requirement, general question and cost proposal responses side
by side. Vendor comments and clarifications are also displayed so you can
quickly determine how each vendor will meet your needs. |
