Since 1984, Schoolhouse Software Inc. has
dedicated its time and energy towards Education
Resource Management (ERM) solutions for the
education industry. As our name implies,
Schoolhouse Software is committed to providing
quality ERM solutions to public and private
educational institutions ranging from
Kindergarten through 12th grade and beyond to
Adult Education.
Our start was in Adult Education where the
Adult Information Management (AIM) software
solution became the industry standard for
tracking attendance throughout California.
AIM2000, the Windows version, continues this
tradition with improved flexibility and
deployment options. Our close working
relationship with the Adult Education Department
at the state level keeps our staff abreast of
important changes effecting Adult Education. The
AIM product for Adult Education served as the
foundation for a new product, released in 1999,
which was designed to address the unique
requirements of California Regional Occupation
Centers & Programs (ROCP) and Vocational
Education facilities across the country.
Partnerships with two of California's leading ROP
centers provided the input and design for the
premier management system for the growing
Vocational Educational field.
Significant needs in the Child Nutrition
Departments of K-12 public and private schools
became evident and was the input to an integrated
management tool called CafTRAC. The CafTRAC
Office Management System was introduced in 1987
and CafTRAC Point of Sale in 1988. CafTRAC is
the premier accounting system for Child Nutrition
and has introduced new levels of automation and
productivity to these departments. These
products are now in operation throughout the
United States.
